Our contributors have an ongoing cause for the vulnerable and marginalised or themselves are from the said community. 

Professor Dr. Makmor Tumin is a professor in political sciences at Universiti Malaya. His interest has taken a turn towards philosophy and Islamic studies. In recent years he has published numerous books on philosophy and religion. Being completely blind now, he fundraises by publishing books which may be of interest for those with the affinity towards deep thinking and philosophy. An avid advocate of organ donation, he himself has had kidney transplant twice and is under heavy medications to sustain his health. Dr. Mariam Aisha Fatima comes from a multicultural and multireligious parentage which is a mix of minority ethnics in Malaysia. She is also an academic at Management and Science University who loves travelling, reading and writing. She is a revert to Islam and lives in Selangor, Malaysia with her children. She is passionate about supporting the vulnerable communities locally and abroad through projects and publications with direct or indirect impact for their betterment while creating awareness to the marginalised sections of society.
